A push pin vice (spiral push drill) has a handle with a smaller twisted piece of steel attaching the chuck. It is called a push pin vice due to it being pushed down to create the drilling motion. The vice is pushed downwards with one hand and held steady with the other. The spiral part of the vice is pushed up into the handle and this turns the drill piece.
